Prevention assistance
You can make an appointment with our prevention assistant before your periodic check-up. The prevention assistant will then treat your teeth and ensure that your mouth is completely clean for the check-up.
In addition, the prevention assistant does the following:
- She cleans your teeth
- She maps the condition of the gums using a DPSI score
- She provides information and instructions about treating your mouth.
Dentist with prevention assistant
The prevention assistant does not do the same work as the dental hygienist. You visit the prevention assistant before you go to the dental hygienist.
Also for the children
You can also contact our prevention assistant with your children. The prevention assistant explains why clean teeth are important and provides instructions and information about proper cleaning. She does this in an entertaining way, so that your children can also listen and understand. Even if your children are afraid of the dentist, you can contact us.
