Periodic control

Dental check-up

The dental check-up is carried out periodically by our dentists. You decide how often you come to our practice for a check-up. We recommend that you have a dental check-up at least twice a year. It is better to prevent than to cure.

How does the dental check-up work?

The dental check-up at our practice is a periodic check-up appointment. You come to us, take a seat in the comfortable lounger and the dentist examines your teeth. He asks about your health and whether you have any complaints and uses tools to examine your teeth to look for any problems. The dentist will also look at your file to see whether old fillings may need to be replaced and whether it is necessary to take control photos of your teeth as a precaution.

With the periodic dental check-up, your teeth are checked in a timely manner, so that you can act quickly if there are cavities or other defects. This prevents any cavities from causing inflammation and unnecessary damage to the tooth. If there is limited plaque present, the check-up ends with cleaning your teeth. If there is an excess of plaque and tartar, the dentist will refer you to the prevention assistant or dental hygienist within the practice. Together we will ensure that your teeth shine and you shine again!
